I can remember visiting Long Beach with my parents when I was a small child.
We would sometimes go to the permanent carnival on the waterfront known as The Pike along with a mixed crowd of kid and drunk sailors on leave.
The Pike is gone now, replaced with a nicely landscaped lagoon with adjacent shops and restaurants.



This location has earned an over-all four star (good+) rating from
